CONNOR SCHON IS A COMPOSER, ARTIST AND PRODUCER BASED IN BROOKLYN, NY
After receiving his B.A. in Music from Wesleyan University, M.M from Berklee College of Music in Music Production, Technology and Innovation, and working as a research assistant in Acoustics at The Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College, Connor moved from New Hampshire to Los Angeles to join the team of Grammy-winning composer Marius de Vries (La La Land, CODA, Navalny).

A gifted singer from an early age, Connor performed the song “Feels Like Summer” for Disney Channel’s 2021 movie Spin and provided additional songwriting and music production for the movie's score, making his first foray into the Hollywood world of film music. Connor’s heritage and interest in ethnomusicology then brought him into the burgeoning film industry in the Dominican Republic and he composed a parallel telenovela score for the La Felicidad film, Safari alongside composer Andy Rodriguez. His background in technology allowed him to excel as a music programmer, building dark rhythmic textures into the score of 2023 Academy Award Winner for Best Documentary, Navalny. Heavily inspired by the natural world, Connor has incorporated his field recordings of ants, rattlesnakes, lava tubes, pigeons and a number of other rare sounds into his work. His music occupies the space at the crossroads of technology, culture, and nature, expressing emotional crests and ravines that words and images fail to reach alone.

In 2023, Connor co-composed the score for the documentary Gloria Gaynor: I Will Survive, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, and served as music programmer for the A24 film, Dicks: The Musical. The following year, he lent his music programming abilities to Joshua Oppenheimer’s musical for Neon, The End, and provided additional music for JC Lee's 2024 Bad Genius. In 2025, he composed the score for director Will Smart's short Quick Fix, which premiered at the Stony Brook Film Festival, as well as Adam Hoelzel's crime thriller feature Tender. While working on those two scores, Connor also engineered, produced, and mixed a full-length record for the artist Michael Vokes, a touring member of the Platinum certified band, Yoke Lore. The album is due out in full in 2026. Connor moved to Brooklyn, NY in late 2025, and is currently co-composing the music for Karla Reyes' new video game Take Us North, backed by BAFTA and Xbox. He has also signed on to write the music for Sonja O'Hara's upcoming psychological thriller, Theirs.
